This former forest house overlooking the beautiful Luwawa Reservoir was converted into a charming lodge among the trees some 20 years ago. It is the ideal base for exploring the Viphya plateau. The rooms are basic but comfortable and the food offered in the restaurant is very good. Several hiking trails start from the lodge. Camping is possible. The access to the lodge, practically located at equidistance of Mzuzu and Kasungu, is made possible by a beautiful marked out track of 8 km starting from the M1. Friendly welcome.
