Katundu was founded in 2006 with the aim of making women in the surrounding villages financially independent by offering them training and ethical employment. Interior design enthusiasts should be interested in this workshop, which employs more than thirty local artists and artisans, mostly women, who use their talents to make refined handmade objects (cushions, lamps, etc.) that adorn some of the country's most beautiful lodges.
