SITE DE COMPIERRE
A site with a forum, a temple and a theater, visitable through the IONO application (QR code to download).
Between Champallement and Saint-Révérien lies the Gallo-Roman town of Compierre. The discovery of this site in the 19th century underlines today the activity of a typically Gallo-Roman settlement along a Roman road. Established on 22 ha, the city included a forum, a temple and a theatre. One can freely visit the site from the car park, where explanatory sheets are available in different languages, or through the IONO application where an interactive visit is proposed (QR code to download).
