Thumbi View Lodge has comfortable rooms and dormitories, but it's the communal areas that are the real draw. The bar, with its walls covered in words left by travelers from all over the world, the small library with its softly cushioned benches, the pretty swimming pool lined with deckchairs and the restaurant, shared by the lodge for dinner and the café overlooking the sandy street for breakfast and lunch, are all very pleasant. Several activities are available (yoga, hiking and water sports)
