Separated from the mainland by a fifty-meter-long inlet, the wooded Domwe Island is home to Kayak Africa's small eco-camp. Three safari tents and two wooden camping platforms make up this wild and peaceful site, accessible by kayak or motorboat, which lies behind a small beach on the west side of the island. There's a chef on site who can, for a fee, prepare a dinner from the victuals that the intrepid traveler has taken care to transport. You can also prepare your own meals.
