Let's set the scene: a very welcoming staff, delightful rooms, a swimming pool overlooking the lake, a private beach ideal for lazing around, a restaurant with an explicitly lakeside feel, a bar for tourists with dry throats, a floral firework display (jacarandas, bougainvilleas...) to the delight of birds, monkeys and Homo sapiens sapiens.
