Buried in the forest at an altitude of 1,000 metres, this colonial house with its British charm is the only accommodation in the Namizimu forest reserve ("place of the spirits" in Chiyao). It's a magical place, off the beaten track. Activities include excursions to Mangochi Fort and Skull Rock (Mangochi Forest Reserve), hiking the Uzuzu ridge and visiting the village of Chowe. The clean rooms and fully-equipped recluse forest cabin are as pleasant as the common areas. Small swimming pool with natural spring water.
