This beautiful lodge is located on the left bank of the Shire River in Liwonde National Park. The lodge's name, mvuu ("hippopotamus" in Tongan), was aptly chosen, as the plump mammal abounds in the area (elephants and crocodiles are also well represented). The safari tents, with their refined furnishings, and the restaurant are ideal observation posts. A swimming pool and a host of activities (birdwatching, game drives, etc.) are available to guests. Exquisite lodge and welcome.
