Shire Camp, in addition to its restaurant, referenced a little further on, and its friendly staff, offers basic but quite decent serviced chalets, including the river view chalet completed in 2018 which, as its name suggests, offers a view of the Shire River. It's located on the right bank of the river, and if you're lucky, you'll be able to see hippos passing in front of your room. It's a nice place to stay if you're looking for budget accommodation. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast.
