Established on the banks of the Shire River, Hippo View Lodge has 111 spacious but sometimes aging rooms, each with refrigerator, air conditioner, TV and bathroom. Feel free to visit several of them. Suites offer river views and whirlpool baths. The hotel organizes boat safaris on the Shire to discover the crocodilian, proboscidian and hippopotamus fauna that inhabit its banks. The safer waters of the swimming pool and the lush garden provide the perfect place to cool off.
