Zomba's favorite spot for backpackers and young volunteers. Run by enthusiastic young locals, the former Pakachere now Blend Lodge is a cheerful place to meet other travelers and organize outings on the plateau. The hotel offers camping pitches, pretty dormitories and bright rooms. Nice bar-restaurant. Numerous organized activities (dance, cooking, painting and chichewa classes) and excursions (Lake Chilwa, Chikala Pillars, Zomba Plateau). Warm welcome. Bikes for hire.
