Located in Chitakale, a village crossed by the M2 two kilometers north-west of Mulanje town center, the Chididi Motel is a good place to spend one or more nights for hardened backpackers. You'll find spartan rooms (sweet euphemism) at very reasonable prices. But if you're averse to enigmatic stains and damp stains, you might want to pass. Toilets and showers, shared or private, very basic. The motel is signposted from the main road.
