TORRE GUACETO
Nature reserve with preserved coasts, enchanting shores and white sandy coves
Torre Guaceto is a real jewel of the Adriatic coast. This nature reserve is made up of 6 km of unspoilt coastline, enchanting shores and white sandy creeks. Its name comes from the Aragonese tower built in the 16th century to protect the hinterland against Turkish and pirate invasions. To reach the magnificent beaches of the reserve, one must follow roads and paths lined with centuries-old olive and juniper groves. You may see flamingos, one of the migratory bird species that stop here.
