The Leribe Craft Center is one of the best known traditional craft centers in the country, where you can stop on the roadside coming from Maseru town. Here, they sell mainly wool and mohair jackets and scarves, the local specialties that are essential to stay warm in the highlands when the cold falls in the evening. But you can also find bags, ponchos, hats, blankets embroidered with colorful primitive designs... In short, all the Basotho handicrafts, worked by hand.
