SEA CLIFF BRIDGE
This 41 m-high bridge, one of the Grand Pacific Drive's must-see stops, offers a unique panorama of the ocean.
Inaugurated in December 2005, this magnificent bridge, 665 m long and 41 m high, overhangs the waters between Coalcliff and Clifont, offering a unique panorama on the ocean. Its construction was decided following the definitive closure, in 2003, of the old road which ran along the cliffs of the Illawarra Escarpment and where rock falls were numerous and had become far too dangerous. Now, this bridge is one of the must-see stops on the Grand Pacific Drive. This bridge is also accessible to pedestrians and bicycles.
