BOODEREE NATIONAL PARK
This wilderness park covers Jervis Bay Territory, south of the bay, and is very popular with nature lovers and campers
Borderee National Park, located south of the bay, covers Jervis Bay Territory and the eastern part of the Saint Georges Basin. Quite wild, it is mainly visited by nature lovers and campers. Visitors can discover the medicinal virtues of the plants cultivated there, in the company of a Koori aboriginal guide. It is also possible to go to Cape Saint George to see the ruins of the lighthouse which was in service from 1860 to 1889. These ruins are on the National Heritage List.
