MARREE MAN (STUART'S GIANT)
Site located 60 km west of Maree to find a representation engraved in the ground of a gigantic aboriginal hunter.
60 km west of Maree, Marree Man (or Stuart's Giant), discovered in 1998, is the representation engraved in the ground of a gigantic aboriginal hunter of 4.2 km long and more than 15 km in circumference. It could be a representation of a member of the Pitjantjatjara people hunting birds or wallabys with a throwing stick. No one knows who is behind this colossal work. It is the largest geoglyph in the world, but it is eroding.
