The Whyalla Maritime Museum is located at the Visitor Center. His centerpiece, HMAS Whyalla, present on the site, is a corvette that opera from 1942 to 1946. In 1947 until 1984, it was transformed, under the name of Rib, into a maintenance vessel of lighthouses and beacons. It was 56 m long and 730 t long, carrying 85 crew. Despite its name the museum presents a remarkable and one of the largest railway models in Australia (with a plot of 226 m). Exhibition on shipbuilding production. Botanical Garden.
