About 20 kilometres from Ljubljana, the museum is housed in a medieval castle that was the site of the first Carniolan monastery. The permanent exhibition, based on the evolution of techniques, is remarkable for its popularisation efforts. It refers in turn to the importance of the manual tradition, forestry and agriculture for the Slovenian economy. More unusual, we'll get excited about Marshal Tito's vintage cars. Several educational workshops are offered to the young public on weekends.
