A natural lake in the heart of Wayanad's green hills, offering canoeing and fishing

Located at an altitude of 770 meters, Lake Pookot (or Pookode) is a natural lake situated in the heart of the green hills of Wayanad. It allows travelers to canoe on a boat or a small light boat, or to go fishing. One of the curiosities of the place is the natural foot spa where small fishes come to tickle your toes! There is also a children's playground and some small shops. Three kilometers away, the Lakedi View point offers a splendid panorama of the lake and the forests.
