The Kvetera site is located around ten kilometers from the town of Akhmeta and has become much more accessible since the road was resurfaced. On the heights, we discover the remains of an ancient fortress and the beautiful church, renovated in 2013-2014. The church was built in the 10th century and makes a strong impression, with its turquoise-green tiles. The surrounding citadel even dates back to the 8th or 9th century. The site is very peaceful and few tourists come here, so take the opportunity to discover it in peace and quiet.
