COLLÉGIALE SAINT-MARTIN
Typical Burgundian collegiate church, whose portal is richly decorated, revealing 32 scenes from the life of Saint Martin
Built between the 12th and 16th centuries, the collegiate church is a jewel of the flamboyant Gothic style. Its richly ornate portal features 32 scenes from the life of Saint Martin. Eloquent, too, is the splendor of its buttresses, infinitely crafted stone lacework, and its tower, which resembles that of Nevers Cathedral, except that it has no statues in its niches. The interior is just as elegant and grandiose. This typically Burgundian building is well worth a visit!
