Among other craft treasures, Corbigny has on its heights an incomparable old-fashioned tile factory: the tile factory of the Chapelle de Sarre. Mr Pierre Garnier and his workers make a noble, warm and ancestral material there. Since the 18th century, the tile factory has never stopped working. The clay is a yellowish plastic clay which, after firing over a wood fire, gives shades of " coucher from soleil " thanks to kaolin and iron oxides. To be visited!
