ÉGLISE SAINT-JACQUES

In a Gothic style of the late 15th century, Saint-Jacques church was originally the Collégiale Saint-Laurent. On the west side of the building, at the left of the gate, you will notice a curious little triangular corbelled balcony with an openwork stone railing, that is supposed to be a watchtower to monitor the city. Another interesting detail, the triangular arched gate, surmounted by a large bay with flamboyant tracery. Inside, besides the beautiful stained glass windows, you can admire the altar, the choir and the Gothic south chapel, the nave of the 15th century and the wrought iron of the 18th century. Note that the access to the nave and choir is forbidden, so you can admire these wonders only through these railings.
