MATÉVULU BLUE HOLE

Although accessible by car, it is by kayak that the Matevulu Blue Hole is best appreciated. From Turtle Bay or Oyster Island, it takes about 40 minutes to go up the river to the terminus, the blue hole. The landscape is magical and the water becomes clearer every meter. On arrival a small area is provided for kayaks and picnics. A ladder and rope allow brave and sporty people to jump up to five metres. Bring shoes as the bottom of the water is uneven.
