This custom reserved for men is very spectacular. Perched on a temporary wooden structure, sometimes several tens of metres above the ground, the brave jump into the void with only a vine attached to their feet for safety. This is a unique and initiatory leap. Tourism is a little different from this tradition. The whole thing is very nice, but impressive. Circumcised young boys also try this exercise from low platforms. Very popular with tourists, the jump has however become a costly attraction that must be anticipated. On the island of Pentecost, there are 6 to 7 towers, only 4 are accessible to tourists. Bring good shoes when it rains, the ground is muddy.
