The inhabitants of Wala Island welcome visitors for three days to share the culture and traditions of the Small Nambas. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the rhythmic drum of tam-tam or slong gong. Dressed in traditional costume, the woman of the tribe will welcome you with the greeting, a welcome necklace, before taking you to the bush kitchen where she prepares a kae kae (food).
