ANCIEN COUVENT DES MINIMES
Former convent of the Minimes in a former church in Decize, giving the buildings their current architecture.
On the site of this former church (now the Salle Olga Olby, named after the Russian-born painter who donated her works to the town of Decize) and the surrounding buildings, the Saint-Pierre priory was built in 1026. Built by the Benedictine monks of the Abbey of Saint-Germain d'Auxerre, it fell into decline at the end of the 15thcentury , and was handed over to the Minimes Fathers in 1621. In the 17th century, the Minimes gave the buildings their current architecture.
