This Tibetan monastery is typical of those of Gansu. Founded in 1748, it houses an important monks congregation until the Cultural Revolution. During the latter, it was completely destroyed before being reconstructed in the same way. Today, it is a fairly rich set, with golden sheet on roofs, and buildings in very good condition (interior is treated); It offers a splendid view of the whole village. There were 400 monks elected there.
