So beautiful ???? can't wait to go back

Timber Cove is an absolutely magical place. From the moment we stepped on property, we felt instantly at home. The grounds, the staff, and the rooms carry such an incredibly welcoming and comfortable feeling. Regardless of the fantastic views, and delicious food, what really made our trip was a woman named Desiree who works at Coast Kitchen. Her level of care, kindness, and attention to detail made us feel like family. We’ll be back, if just to visit our new friend Desiree!

We didn't actually stay here. Our airbnb didn't have power after the storm so we went and got coffee and sat near their fire. Not sure what my wife ordered for me, but I got the best damn bagel with a bowl of everything to put on top. It was what my dreams are made of.
Went back for dinner!! Don't judge, but we ran half the menu. Started off with the cheese and charcuterie board. Local blue seemed like point Reyes original (not a bad thing.) Cheddar was wonderful. Whole grain mustard, mustarda, olives, cornichones, and a bounty of prosciutto, coppa, and salami. Would order again and again.
Also got a whitefish toast, beyond spectacular. Roasted beets, perfect.
I also ordered the lamb shank. Melted off the bone. Saved half of this and made a hash with it the next morning.

Our server was on the tail end of a double shift. She was lovely. The next morning when we went back for coffee we learned she was new and this may have been her first dinner shift. Hannah, your service was exceptional and your hospitality was second to none.

Thank you for such a pleasant experience! Also, our dog was allowed in the common area and got a lot of love from all of the staff. I'd give more stars if I could.

Not just another 5 star rating.

Getting here is a challenge but not without a huge payoff. We like coming during the winter. Cool weather but clear skies. And the views are unmatched up or down the coast. Short walking trails along the cliffs are easy to navigate (we came for my mother’s 90th Bday)

The restaurant has a wide selection (say hi to the chef) and gladly cater to special requests. Very good.

All rooms with views and decks! Ocean room/ground floor is my recommendation. And a record player in each room!!!

Best part? The people. Bousso, Hanna and Angel, they do it all. Unbelievable service. Ask Hanna to make your Bloody Mary ????.

A shout out to Salvador and Ed too making our stay very comfortable.
Cheers Timber Cove!!!!

Only stopped at the bar for a drink and appetizer. It was fantastic, and the atmosphere was nice with fireplace on the inside and seating by the firepit outside.

Fabulous setting. The lodge is beautiful. Rooms could use a little updating. What a wonderful place to relax and take in the beauty of the California coast. Go during the week for quiet and discounts.

Unbelievable property that’s perfect for both couples and families just a couple hours north of San Francisco. The private hiking trails on the property plus the unseasonably warm weather made it the perfect place to propose at earlier this month. Can’t wait to go back next year especially now that we know they have a telescope you can rent to use on your private balcony - the stars on a clear night are incredible!

We lived about a mile from here for the last 14 months so we never stayed there, just visited the restaurant and bar. So many amazing people work there! Alan, a wonderful chef. Then you have Val, Ilana, Victoria, Cesare, Spencer, Ed, Brian and so many more! The food and service has always been stellar, thank you all!

Great mid-century rustic lodge that has been redone. The suites are fantastic for a long weekend and the staff helped to build a few magic moments. Lots of accessible trails nearby as well as beaches, wineries, and fantastic sunset views at this dog-friendly property.

We went here to hang out during the sunset hours and eat at the restaurant! We love this place. Lots of fun things for the kids and the staff is so friendly. The setting is also so beautiful!

Beautiful views, good food, friendly service

Was overpriced honestly, and the service was not up to par with other resorts. We could hear the people walking over our rooms all evening.

Nice location, ok rooms, and some fun games to play. But very overpriced for what it is. We had a service charge without knowing, for room service for food, that's 20 feet away from our room in a To go bag in plastic boxes with missing utensils, and they messed up the order. When I went to ask the front desk about it, the employee didnt know anything about it and did not want to help. There prices are consistently much higher than similar locations. Our room was directly under the deck and we can hear people stomping day and night walking and children running. And most of the records we played were in bad condition and skipped most of the songs. I don't see myself going back there anymore. We have been to similar priced resorts and had a better experience than at Tiber cove resort.

I can't believe I didn't review this place ! We went in April 2023 and have been longing to go back..maybe in November. The rooms are decidedly vintage 60s/70s, much like The Standard or Soho House, but with a clean rustic marine vibe of a long-lost California. The main building with its grand and welcoming great room is a joy to hang out and relax, interact with other guests, or just be on your own. The grounds are beautiful and a relaxing to explore. The best aspects are the crafted drinks, food, and staff. We had no issues having breakfast, snacks, and dinner. Such a special, Romantic place.
