For more than 80 years the same family holds this seafood restaurant on the edge of the ocean. All generations combine to taste the specialities of the house, including the legendary Nick's Famous, a crab sandwich with tomatoes and lawyers. An inescapable De. The weekend musical evenings are very popular with the locals.

i ordered half a crab sandwhich w garlic butter on the side and an order of the fish and chips.
the sandwhich was really good and the garlic butter made it pop even more. however it was $25 for half a sandwich which and i was still hungry afterwards.
the fish and chips were ok. the batter was really crispy and delicious on one side and soggy on the other same as the soggy fries. i imagine it’s from being in a to go container for about 5 min or however long it took to get from the kitchen to my car in the parking lot where i ate. the fish itself was dry and you can tell it had been frozen. i didn’t expect fresh cod from alaska but i wasn’t expecting it to have that dried chewy texture in some parts.
overall if come back when i have the extra cash for a full size crab sandwhich. it does live up to its fame, but id prob skip the fish and chips
We recently visited Nicks again for a lunchtime anniversary celebration. While the atmosphere was pleasant, some aspects of our experience fell short.
Firstly, the menu listed the crab sandwich as "market price". We decided to order it anyway, hoping for a truly exceptional sandwich. Unfortunately, the flavor was quite bland and didn't live up to the $50 price tag. Looks like price goes up to $10 every year lately.
To be seated we waited for an hour, and since all tables were booked in the main area, we were seated at the bar area. While we appreciate being accommodated, a dedicated table would have felt more fitting for a special occasion.
Overall, the experience wasn't what we were hoping for, especially considering the premium pricing. While the concept of "market price" is understandable, it would be helpful to have a general range listed to avoid sticker shock. Additionally, the crab sandwich itself lacked the flavor we expected.
We may consider returning in the future, but for now, we'll be looking elsewhere for our next special occasion meal.
