A restaurant in the heart of Pacifica, offering both Peruvian and Mexican specialities. We especially appreciate the dishes made from fish, with a nice selection of recipes de octopus. The classic taco and burrito of the region are also on the menu, and are worth a visit. Friendly setting and warm atmosphere.

The place looks like diner from the 1970's. Dull and uninspiring.

Ordered the chicken empanadas, which were good. The beef loma soltado was not tasty and had an awful sauce flavor. The fried yucca was not crunchy. The shrimp soup was marginal. The waiter was on the phone a lot. I will not return.

First, there was no Inca Kola! That was a bummer. We ordered the Jalea de Mariscos, Chicharron de pescado and the Pan con Chicharron. The Jalea only had 3, yes that's right, 3 pieces of shrimp. There were three of us so we got one piece each. The fried fish in both the Jalea and Chicharron de pescado was dull and flavorless. Thank goodness for the dipping sauce for it was flavorful. The pan con Chicharron was dull and boring and was very light in the pork serving! The Salsa Criolla that is put on the Jalea and the pan con Chicharron should be bursting with flavor, but it was quite the opposite. I am not sure that the Chef is versed in Peruvian cuisine. Finally, my wife was sick the rest of the day by throwing up and being very weak. We think it was some kind of food poisoning. She had to go to bed and called out from work the next day! I have eaten at the old El Toro Loco down the block and the food was so delicious there!! Will not be going back.

Stopped here after taking the dog for a swim at the Rex Center. Grabbed one of the few outdoor tables. Food was awesome and fresh. Hubby had the super burrito carnita. I had the fried fish app with the yuca app. Yummy! Well fried, nice and hot. Perfect actually. Sauces were awesome. Had 1/2 pitcher Sangria. That too was just what we needed. Super casual eats.
