The Jardin garden is located about km from Sermoneta, where the village of the same name was located in the Middle ages. It belonged to the Caetani, but the village, infested with malaria, was abandoned in the th century. Over the centuries, nature has regained its rights and the village has fallen into ruins. It was only at the beginning of the th century that the family took over these lands in hand and transformed them into English-style Gardens.
