MUSEUM OF THE FIRST PIAST IN LEDNICA (MUZEUM PIERWSZYCH PIASTÓW NA LEDNICY)
Located on an island of Lake Lednica, this museum is accessible by ferry from the small ethnographic park (Mały Skansen). This archaeological reserve bears witness to Poland's oldest history. Ramparts surround the remains of buildings of the th century (times of Miesko I) and the th century. Great emotion took place in Poland during the discovery, in 1988 and 1989 of baptismal font-shaped fonts, that allowed historians to move forward that Miesko I was probably baptized in Wrocław Lednicki and not in Poznań. The objects extracted by archaeologists are visible in Skarbczyk, at Mały Skansen, located near the passage to the island, as Poland's oldest windmill.
