SKANSEN TOKARNIA (PARK ETNOGRAFICZNY W TOKARNI)
The Skansen De is one of the finest and largest outdoor museums in Poland. It traces life in the region by presenting the various habitats and architecture, village and nobility of the Kielce region. In an area of 80 hectares, 30 wooden buildings, all dating from the th century, come from villages different from the region. Each building presents countless details of the profession and the richness of interior architecture. At the entrance to the skansen, the pharmacy presents porcelain pots, copper instruments, a microscope and tubes, in the th century, in the village of Bieliny. A little further away Jan Bernasiewicz's house recounts the work of this naive artist with photos and beautiful wooden statues, typical of Polish, religious, or pagan art. The manor of Suchedniów contrasts strongly with the peasant architecture that dominates the skansen. Built by a local noble in 1812, it is heated by beautiful tiled stoves.
