TINKERTOWN MUSEUM
Tinkertown Museum is a place where a thousand and one objects collected by Ross Ward, painter, sculptor and tinkerer
It took the late Ross Ward over 40 years to build and collect what is now the Tinkertown Museum. This painter, sculptor and especially tinkerer, first made a name for himself by exhibiting his wood carvings at fairs during the 1960s through 1970s. Today, the Ward family continues his legacy by maintaining and managing Tinkertown in his memory. More than 50,000 glass bottles form the walls surrounding the museum, where a lifetime of collecting has taken place.
