Great place to stay and enjoy the thrills of traveling Route 66. The room is excellent given the small footprint of a teepee, but are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The ease of parking and moving about the city makes me wish Wigwam Motels lined Route 66. It’s just a cozy place to stay the night and visit.

I recently stayed at this cute and unique motel which, despite its average price per night, offers a distinct charm unmatched elsewhere. Apart from a small swimming pool and a quaint office serving free fresh coffee, the real highlight is the opportunity to sleep in a tipi at the Wigwam Motel. I stayed here for a music festival weekend and absolutely loved the experience - perfect for photos and an incredibly unique place to stay. While it's not a luxury resort, the novelty of sleeping in a tipi is unbeatable. I recommend staying for a night, capturing some great photos, and enjoying this truly distinctive accommodation in the area. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. This spot is definitely worth a visit, especially if you're open-minded and seeking something out of the ordinary.

To be completely honest the ONLY bad thing i can say is that they need a new shower head. Besides that EVERYTHING was great. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming.

One of the last remaining teepee-style motels on the Mother Road: Route 66.

The Wigwam Motel is a terrific place to stay on Route 66, particularly if you have a kid or are really into iconic landmarks. We stayed for two nights and found it to be clean, quiet, friendly, and fun. It's a family run motel and it"s clear that they take great pride in maintaining the property well and taking good care of their guests. My husband and I highly recommend it!

Stayed in September 2019. I have been inspired to write reviews about places I visited before I discovered Google reveiws. It was such a fun and unique place to stay! You can tell this hotel inspired Sally's cozy cone hotel in the movie cars. The teepee are cozy and clean. The man at the desk was very nice and even gave us free snacks. It's not the best side of town but we felt very safe. Stay here if driving Route 66.

The Wigwam Hotel is a nostalgic trip back the sentimental glory days of Route 66. They play up this theme once on their property. From the gift shop/office, individual teepee style room accommodations and well maintained surroundings with vintage vehicles in various array of conditions, this property wants to preserve the era of bygone days.
They do hit their mark. The rooms are a step back in time. It's not difficult to imagine how a traveler would have felt and experienced staying in wigwam room in the early 50's.
Rooms are very clean and well kept up. If you're looking to stay in a unique and historic location on Route 66, the Wigwam Hotel is your place. It's my understanding this is only one of three locations that still exist of an original seven that operated in their heyday. This location is number seven and last constructed.
For me, for what was offered in a stay, they delivered. I enjoyed my time there.

It's a cute place to stay but the couch is wore out. There is no place to hang your jackets no dresser, no hair dryer, noisy small fridge. Heater would kick the circuit breaker. When we first got here we were checking things out and found that some one had used the toilet and didn't flush.
There was no place to put our toiletries in the bathroom.
The bed was very comfortable.
Went to get ice and it costed 25cents which when I payed it the machine didn't work.
I went to the office and he said that I will need to go across the street and buy a bag of ice from them.
I'm pretty sure I won't be back here again.
Looked like a fun place to stay.

Staying at the Wigwam was a nice experience, staff is very friendly! It’s perfect for a one night stop. There’s lots of good mexican restaurants nearby. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short but staff was very understanding. We’ll definitely be back!

For the Historic Route 66 fans, this one of three remaining Wigwan motels and is a must experience place. Our schedule didn’t allow us to stay at this motel, but we have stayed at the Wigwam in Holbrook, Arizona. We spoke with the innkeeper who was enthusiastic, and we chatted about Route 66’s history. Each wigwam is one room, and you park right outside your room. If you’ve never stayed in a round building before, this place is worth the experience. And winter rates are reasonable.

Such a fun, unique experience!! The room itself was no frills, but the bed was comfy, service was friendly, and my daughter absolutely LOVED staying in a wigwam!

We were looking for a place to stay on a whirlwind roadtrip through SoCal, and as lovers of all things retro, we couldn't pass this place up! I'm so glad we stayed here. The design is more than just retro kitsch - since every room is a separate building, it's very quiet. Although we were near a road, we had zero problems with outside noise overnight, and got a very sound sleep. Rooms themselves are spacious, with plenty of space to spread out and relax. They've been updated, but the charm is still intact. And our room was super clean - always appreciated!

Would also like to give a shoutout to the wonderful staff here - the gentleman who checked us in was so welcoming and friendly, and the gentleman who checked us out was just as friendly even though it was ridiculously early in the morning. (We had to get on the road to our next hike.) Thank you for a great stay!
