This magnificent complex of 120 rooms, built in pure Zanzibarite style (makuti roofs, Arabic architecture towers), combines luxury and modern comfort. Most of the rooms have a balcony with a view of the sea, and offer high standard services. Two restaurants, four bars and a superb swimming pool complete the picture. To keep you busy, the hotel has a spa (five treatment rooms), a gym, a nautical centre, two tennis courts, a squash court, and even an 18-hole golf course, the only one on the island.

A magnificent 120-room resort on the west coast of the exotic island of Zanzibar, ideally located just 20 minutes from historic Stone Town.
Drive up to Sea Cliff Resort & Spa and you'll know right away that you've found something special. The 4 km road through a coconut plantation that leads to the hotel is a reminder of old Zanzibar. Peace and quiet, no other hotel in the area.
As you enter the courtyard decorated with tropical flowers and palm trees, the ocean view opens up before you. With our traditional makuti roofs and Arab towers, you'll know that this is a unique hotel. It's a clever combination of modern facilities with traditional Zanzibar architecture.
The hotel is set on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean, and offers panoramic views from the lounge, restaurant, bar and even the leisure area. You can have breakfast overlooking the ocean, dine under the stars, and enjoy a sunset on the pontoon.

I didnt stay here but had an amazing experience everytime i entered here. Its a beautiful resort...very humble staff who were always smiling and ready to attend us...the food was amazing as well. Will definately recommend for staying

The resort itself is exceptional. The pool is crystal clear, and the staff are friendly and pleasant. There is so much to do at the resort, and you can also do nothing but relax. They have shuttle into Stone Town, which does not cost you a cent. Aircons in the rooms and block out curtains with mosquitoe nets around the bed. The holiday experience was so much better staying at this resort.
