Kitu Kiblu provides is the most professional encounters with Whale Sharks in the region and that leads to best experience! All staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and provide incredible moments with these gentle giants that are natural and non-invasive. The area overall is very special and the population numbers are very healthy, which always makes for a good experience with a very high chance of experiencing an encounter!

Einzigartiger Ort auf Mafia. Tolle Unterkünfte, fantastisches Essen und super Team. Die Tagesausflüge starten direkt vor der Unterkunft. Dabei wird versucht, viel Wissen über die Whale sharks und ein Verständnis für den richtigen Umgang mit den Tieren zu vermitteln. Der Respekt vor den Haien steht immer an erster Stelle. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit mit dem Team und den Interns und durften viele interessante Menschen kennenlernen. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

Ursprünglich wollten wir nur eine Nacht bleiben…letztendlich blieben wir 8 Tage. Wunderschönes Areal, fantastisches Essen und verantwortungsvoller Umgang mit den Whalesharks. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Anbietern wird man nicht direkt auf die Whalesharks geschmissen, sondern in angemessener Distanz abgesetzt und kann dann einfach zu ihnen schwimmen. Hierdurch bleiben die Tiere an der Oberfläche und fliehen nicht vor zu viel Lärm und Hektik in die Tiefe. Wenn zu viele andere Boote kommen fährt man weiter und sucht weitere Whalesharks. Da immer viele Interns da sind lernt man hier wirklich nette und interessante Leute kennen. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Beautiful tranquil place! Nice staff and owners are lovely. Lots of people/interns around who research the whale sharks. They focus on responible encounters with the whale sharks. From what we have seen of behaviour of other companies during our trip , please choose kitukiblu/responsible marine encounters to swim with the sharks! They care about the whalesharks and you have far more time on the water to see en encounter!
