A generous cuisine, rooted in the local terroir and tradition, with fish as its strong point, but also seafood and excellent fresh stuffed pasta. But the desserts aren't bad either! In the picturesque medieval center of Giglio Castello, this family-run (and renowned) restaurant, opened in 1963, boasts a panoramic view of the Bay of Campese and the blue sea. A true picture... Le aspettative erano troppo alte x come ne parlavano.... Non mi è piaciuto né il locale, né il piatto che ho preso, uno spiedino di polipo con patate, 4 pezzetti di polipo e tante patate a un prezzo davvero alto... Il millefoglie davvero da evitare...

Il ristorante Maria ci è stato consigliato da un amico che lo frequenta da tempo e dobbiamo dire che è stato davvero un ottimo suggerimento. Ci siamo addirittura tornati un’altra volta durante la nostra mini vacanza. Piatti molto buoni a base di pesce e cucinati in modo semplice. Non mancate alici marinate e torta ricotta e fichi. Personale simpatico e un ottimo servizio !!!
