Built on the site of the former abbey of Lucelle, the European Meeting Center of Lucelle (CERL) is the most important reception facility in the Sundgau. You will be offered overnight accommodation, full board or half board. The spiritual services are the organization of sessions, training courses, retreats in group or in isolated approach. It is also possible to participate in the daily services, and to exchange with a priest.
Services : in the chapel of Notre-Dame de Lucelle. Every day, except Monday and Saturday, mass at 11am. Sundays and feast days: High Mass at 10:30 am, Holy Mass at 5 pm. Also a grotto dedicated to the Virgin of Lourdes
Reception : about forty renovated rooms, with telephone, all equipped with showers and WC (sheets and towels provided); also rooms for seminars, conferences and animations from 35 m² to 180 m² (equipped with wifi). Other services: elevator, parking, television room, library, Internet access, garden. The restaurant, which can accommodate up to 300 guests, offers local cuisine and regional specialties.
Visits : the "Vault of Remembrance" exhibits the objects that were saved from the destruction of the abbey in the early 19th century. A model of the entire immediate domain of the Cistercian abbey is displayed in the center of the room, on a scale of 1/5,000. All around are explanatory panels on themes as varied as geology, history, agriculture, the iron industry, the tanners and the tile factories.
