CHAAYE KHANA

Chaaye Khana is an institution for young people in the capital. The tea house (literal translation of the name of this restaurant) is always full. People come here more to enjoy its exhilarating atmosphere than for the quality of its food. The menu is mainly composed of snacks: parothas and samosas, waffles and pancakes. Tchai pink or Tchai Kashmiri (pink tea with milk and spices) is one of the house's specialities, but the menu also has a wide assortment of teas. The little something extra about this place is its leather sofas on which you could lie for hours on end. A special smoking section with club chairs is also available at the bottom of the café.
