NATIONAL MONUMENT
Go there and contact
If you take the highway from Islamabad to the airport, you will notice a large granite structure in the shape of flower petals emerging from Shakarparian Hill. It is Pakistan's national monument, which symbolizes the unity of the country. The four largest petals represent the country's four provinces, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, while the three smallest represent Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir and FATA (Federally Administered Tribal Areas). It is a monument much appreciated by Pakistanis, located next to the Lok Virsa Museum and which offers a panoramic view of the capital.
