SAIDPUR VILLAGE
Go there and contact
The picturesque and charming village of Saidpur lies at the foot of the Margallas. In order to preserve the history, culture and environment of this 300-year-old place, the capital authorities have made it a kind of "model village". The operation was very successful. With its cobbled streets, restored mud houses and craft shops (Saidpur is famous for its pottery), the traditional side is very well preserved and enhanced. The village is surrounded by lush vegetation and divided by a small stream: on the left are the last Hindu temple in the capital and a Gurdwara, a place of worship for the Sikhs, and on the right, most of the houses. You will find some restaurants, including the famous Andaaz.
