The Watermill grain mill was built in 1644 by English settlers in Southampton, just to the north. When you see its two-storey wooden structure, you are impressed by its strength, which allows it to stand almost four centuries after its construction. Moved twice, in 1726 and 1790, it remained in operation until the early 1900s, then was converted into a museum in 1968. Every year, a quilt festival is held there.
