GARIBALDI LAKE
Lake Garibaldi south of the city offering a trail of nearly 9 km to pass through the heart of this wild environment.
The lake is located approximately 19 kilometres south of the town and resort of Whistler. Surrounded almost entirely by mountains and volcanoes, the turquoise waters of the lake are beautiful to behold in summer. It is possible to take a trail that is almost 9 kilometres long in order to travel through this wilderness environment. There are also a few campgrounds. In winter, the icy waters make it possible to explore the lake on snowshoes (be sure to ask the tourist offices about the solidity of the ice).
