Hotel with a large outdoor pool offering modern rooms and suites with all comforts. Some rooms have a balcony.

A huge luxury design hotel complex with two large towers, consisting of 998 rooms and 96 modern suites, all comfort and nicely decorated in soft tones. The Diplomat also has 4 restaurants and a bar, a superb spa, very large outdoor pools and a fitness club open 24 hours a day. Special mention for its idyllic location facing the beach. Some rooms have balconies overlooking the ocean. Magical!

Beautiful spot on the beach.
The restaurant and bar options connected to the resort were suitable for any occasion, whether it is lounging beachside/poolside having drinks or having a fancy date night dinner or simply meeting new friends at the bar. The rooms are spacious, and if you happen to get the right balcony, you get an amazing view of both beach and city. The pool is nice, and it is a short walk to the Hollywood beach boardwalk full of shops and eateries

This hotel was one of my favorites, but now it’s run down and dirty. The splash pad was damaged and blocked off. The pool deck looks like it needs to be pressure washed and refurbished. We had two connecting rooms; both were dusty, with mold spots in the bathroom and stains on the carpets and chairs. The AC is super loud and woke me up at night. During our stay, our 4-year-old son developed a sudden high fever, and we talked to the front desk to see if we could check out early because of medical reasons. The lady at the front desk said yes and to check out before 11 am. She said that we wouldn’t get charged for the second night. We were thankful. The following morning, another front desk agent assisted us and explained we would not get charged an early departure fee, but we wouldn’t get our honors points back. We were ok with that. We looked over the folio; the charges were around $1,200 for one night 2 rooms, and some soup and pizza. Everything looked fine. Then, a few days later, we were charged around $800. So I called the hotel, explained everything and was told a manger would call me. I called again a few times and it’s been a few weeks and no one has called me back.

From the moment we walked in the vibe was off. This was supposed to be Miami. There was no welcome. The one person at the checkin counter had so much negative attitude, it was palpable. No clear instructions about the resort itself were given. I had to ask 3 times for directions to my room. I was given 2 pieces of paper to read to know more about hotel events, wifi details and menus. Speaking of menus, in room dining should be called in room take out. Menu is bare. The food shows up in a take out type paper bag. The person delivering the food said NO greating when the room door was opened. Just extended his arm with the bag. Once I retrieved it, he turned and walked away (Odd????)The ceasar salad came from the back of a fridge. It was ICE cold????. Had no dressing. The added shrimp came in a separate container. Nothing tossed or dressed as expected and not as shown on their menu. The word hospitality has truly been lost here.

The hotel has a FedEx office where packages could be sent. A package was delivered for me. At checkin, an enquiry was made as to the location of the office. I was given vague directions to office 210. Unable to find said office, I approached 2 employees on 2 separate occassions, who were also unable to tell me where the office was because they didnt know. There was no visible signage directing to the office. After eventually stumbling on the office, the attendant there, while not rude, was sooooo disconnected from providing any service. Whomever, he was chatting with thru his earbuds had his attention.

I can say that the room is comfortable and nice. It is disappointing that the service spoils it all. Not on my list of resorts to return to.

I am here for a long-term care conference and, unfortunately, I must share that my experience did not meet the expectations set by both the price and the reputation of your establishment.Firstly, the cost of the stay was considerably high with very limited nearby alternatives for dining. This lack of options would have been slightly more acceptable if the resort's facilities were more accommodating. However, an incident occurred that highlighted this issue further. After purchasing a meal from a nearby establishment,, my friend and I were informed by a female staff member that we could not use the outside dining tables to eat our takeout, despite there being no prior indication of this policy. We were advised instead to eat in our room—a suggestion that felt both inconvenient and dismissive. Having spent thousands of dollars to attend a professional event at your resort, I expected a level of hospitality that encourages comfort and convenience, not restrictions and additional hidden terms. It is unsettling to feel penalized for wanting to enjoy a meal within the premises of the hotel.I am hopeful that you will consider this feedback as an opportunity to improve your service and facilities, ensuring that future guests do not encounter similar frustrations. A gesture of goodwill or a commitment to address these issues would also go a long way in restoring faith in your hospitality. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.
