DOMAINE BOHR
At the foot of the Galgenberg hill, in the middle of the fertile Kochersberg plains, wheat and hops are more likely to be grown. And yet, it is here that the Bohr family has been discreetly producing highly appreciated wines for several decades now. First by restaurant owners and locals, and then by customers from further afield thanks to word-of-mouth and a few medals collected here and there. Gimbrett and Kienheim have also been awarded an appellation of origin. The good exposure of the Galgenberg clay and limestone hills gives the wines of the Bohr estate delicious aromas. We appreciate in particular the Crémant d'Alsace Brut, lively and dashing thanks to a happy marriage between Chardonnay and Pinot Auxerrois.
