PUNTA CAMPANELLA
Heading to the southern end of the Sorrento peninsula, the via Nula leading to the bay of Crapolla
It is the southern end of the Sorrento peninsula, only 5 km from the island of Capri. Here stood the Greek temple of Athena, later dedicated to Minerva. Some remains of a Roman villa from the 1st and 2nd centuries can be admired here. The most courageous will take the via Nula to the small bay of Crapolla; it takes almost 30 minutes and hundreds of steps to get there, but once there, you can enjoy the calm of the place. Don't forget to take everything you need with you, as there are no bars, sunbeds or umbrellas to rent here...
