COLONIAL THEATRE
This historic building built with steel, brick and reinforced concrete is one of the four historical theatres of Idaho. The first representation took place in 1919. A few years later, a large screen is installed and the theatre is renamed Paramount Theatre. In 1929, a silent film was released for the first time. After a period of closure, the theatre was renovated at the initiative of the Idaho Falls Arts Council, which restored its original name. Today it unveils a rich programming of shows, concerts and projections. The Willard Arts Center complements the theatre with its exhibition galleries and studios.
